Assemble the equipment in the following order

  •  Bolt the milk receiver support cradle onto the support bracket on the mounting plate
  • The mounting plate should be positioned on the wall at the required height relative to the milk transfer line and used as a template to mark the fixing holes, these are then drilled and plugged.
  • Attach the mounting plate to the wall. Where a 100 litre assembly is being installed with only one milk pump, a separate support bracket and cradle is used along-side the bracket on the mounting plate.
  • Loosely bolt the milk pump to the mounting plate.
  • Place the receiver body onto its support cradle. Line up the milk pump with the gasket and while holding level, screw it onto the receiver assembly, the milk pump can then be securely bolted onto the mounting plate. It is recommended that a very slight slope is built in to the receiver/ pump assembly, with the milk pump at the lowest point. However, the 100 litre receiver with two milk pumps should be plumbed level.
  • Attach the sanitary trap assembly and the roll box to the vertical wall support bracket and then insert into the bracket on the mounting plate. Connect the sanitary trap to the receiver by bolting together with the plastic clamp. Be sure to include the seal.
  • Fit the rubber tubes, T - pieces and restrictor
  • Free the float on the probe since it is secured for protection during transport and check that the pimpled side of the float is facing upwards. Check that the nuts at the bottom of the float are tight.
  • Fit appropriate lids to the milk receiver.
  • Position the control box within reach of the operator when working on or near any part of the milk receiver.
