This dairy parlour product is made of Aluminium which is highly recyclable. Aluminium recycling involves four stages, Shredding, Decorating, (where any decoration is removed by blowing hot air (500 Degrees Celsius) through the shreds), Melting and then Casting (into moulds which are then cooled by jets of water. It is then ready to be re-rolled or shaped into new products.

Please dispose of your metal dairy parlour products responsibly. Your local authority or a nearby scrap dealer will be able to advise how to recycle your used metal products locally.

Aluminium can usually be recycled as part of your kerbside recycling scheme (with drinks cans and other domestic metals)
