• Listen out for vacuum leaks and scan for cracked tubes while working
• Proactively checking and changing your short air tubes should form part of your weekly parlour maintenance regime
• Defective and leaking tubes interfere with the normal pulsation of the liner, resulting in poor milk flow and weak vacuum between the liner and the shell
• Defective and leaking tubes may result in excessive milk remaining in the quarter which may in turn predispose the cow to getting mastitis

This product is made from PVC which, after use, can be shred and powdered to be reprocessed into new products. PVC is a 100% versatile easily recyclable material. Recycling post-industrial and post-consumer plastic are less carbon-intensive than extracting from new resources and items can be re-purposed into footwear, mats and traffic cones for example.

When PVC gets landfilled it can leach toxic chemicals into the environment but PVC Plastic is widely recycled. Please dispose of your used plastic products responsibly by contacting your local council who will be able to advise how best to recycle your used plastic products safely.
