- It is important to check to see that your short air tubes are in good condition when washing the milking clusters at the end of every milking
- Listen out for vacuum leaks and scan for cracked tubes while working
- Proactively checking and changing your short air tubes should form part of your weekly parlour maintenance regime
- Defective and leaking tubes interfere with the normal pulsation of the liner, resulting in poor milk flow and weak vacuum between the liner and the shell
- Defective and leaking tubes may result in excessive milk remaining in the quarter which may in turn predispose the cow to getting mastitis

This product is made of Rubber (or Nitrile Rubber). Rubber is a much treasured, highly recyclable commodity that was once more valuable than silver.
