63mm Air Injector Assembly (Grey Valve)
Suitable to be fitted onto 63mmØ pipework
Air injectors require regular routine weekly maintenance. Every week;
- Check the diaphragm for damage and replace as necessary.
- Clean the filter (it can be removed and rinsed in clean water)
- Keep the check valve clean (this enables free movement of the ball inside)
IMPORTANT - ensure air injectors are cleaned during the wash cycle as milk may enter the body compartment.
ROLL CLIPS - Open roll clip on the wash line tube during washing to allow wash solution to run through the air injector body into the milkline. The check valve ensures that air and/or milk are not forced into the wash line tube.
With older wash systems, a small amount of water may be forced up and out through the air injector at the end of the wash (this occurs when the milk pump is turned on to drain the last of the wash solution in the receiver, because there is no vacuum present to keep the diaphragm down). If this happens regularly check the filter and diaphragm more often.
