Santoprene

This product is made of Santoprene™ . Santoprene is not strictly rubber, but it acts like rubber in many applications. Santoprene is a soft, colourable high-performance thermoplastic elastomer (TPE). It is designed for use in non-fatty food contact applications. A gasket made with Santoprene TPV is about 20% lighter weight than a silicone gasket. Thermoplastic elastomers are a diverse family of rubber-like materials that can be processed and recycled within the manufacturing process.
